12/22/1939	When Britain declared war against the Germans it appealed for help from all political parties. Congress put up some conditions which in other words were the immediate transfer of power. 3/12/1969	Reactor Research Centre established at Kalpakkam. On 18th December 1985, it was renamed as Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research.
1/1/1969	B. Sivaraman was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary of India. He held this office till 30-11-1970.
