Four Language panels were started on Rs. 10/- notes. First time four corner serial numbers were introduced. This panel had Indian languages which varied from state to state.

10/14/1930 | The Flag of Freedom' or 'Swaraj Toran' a feature film produced by Prabhat Film Co.Kolhapur was prohibited by the Censor Board on October 14, 1930 on the grounds that it was objectionable in the existing political situation. The film, however, was cleared only after deleting certain portions and the title changed to 'Udaykal'. |
9/30/1881 | Rajah Annamalai Chettiar, famous musician, social worker and Governor of the Imperial Bank of India, was born at Kanadukattam, Tamil Nadu. |
11/17/1932 | The Third Round Table Conference began in London. It was not attended by the Congress as the real Indian participation in the making of the constitution was negligible. Since Gandhi was in prison because of his civil disobedience movement he could not attend it either. This conference ended on 24th November 1932 without achieving anything. |
