4/4/1938A. M. Chakrabarty was born in Sainthia at West Bengal. He found that under the optimum conditions of time, temperature and nutrients the Hydrocarbon-eating "qualities'' of four diffrent strains of bacteria could be transferred into one. He also showed that this super-strain of bacteria reproduces itself.
11/7/1858Bipinchandra Ramchandra Pal, powerful revolutionary and journalist, was born in a place called Silhat (now in Bangladesh). He was amoung the trio which was known as ""Lal - Bal - Pal"" during the freedom struggle. He started as newspaper called ""Swaraj"" for the Indians in England. He also edited several other newspapers like ""Tribune"", ""New India"", ""Vande Mataram"", ""Swaraj"", ""Hindu Review"", ""Democra
